1. Quarter Tone Exhibition

WHERE: Fenaa Alawwal, Diplomatic Quarter

Presented by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Culture, Quarter Tone introduces an unusual meeting point between music and visual art through the work of renowned oud musician Naseer Shamma. The exhibition transforms sawdust and wood remnants from oud-making into artistic compositions inspired by Arabic musical scales, rhythm and sound.

Visitors can explore how an instrument's materials take on a second life as visual expressions of musical heritage. Hosted at Fenaa Alawwal, the exhibition also features cultural discussions, interactive experiences and scheduled musical evenings, encouraging audiences to discover connections between sound, memory, identity and artistic expression. 2. ARTDOM Riyadh

Riyadh to Welcome Moscow-Founded Design Exhibition ARTDOM on Nov. 11
WHEN: 20–21 October 2026
WHERE: Four Seasons Hotel, Kingdom Centre

ARTDOM Riyadh returns for its second edition, bringing an international perspective to architecture, contemporary interiors, collectible art and luxury design. The two-day exhibition will present more than 80 brands and artists, alongside an extensive programme of talks featuring over 50 voices from architecture, design and culture. Visitors can discover exclusive furniture collections, limited-edition design objects, artistic installations and conversations exploring the future of contemporary living.

From Saudi Arabia's evolving design identity to international creative collaborations, ARTDOM offers a meeting place for designers, collectors, architects and enthusiasts interested in the intersection of art and luxury. Attendance is invitation-only, with professional and private visitor passes available by request.


3. Along the Way Exhibition

 ‘Along the Way’: 34 Saudi artists redefine the meaning of travel in Riyadh exhibition
WHEN: 16 September 2026 – 31 March 2027
WHERE: Prince Faisal bin Fahd Arts Hall

Organised by Misk Art Institute, Along the Way examines how journeys shape our understanding of place, memory and human experience. Bringing together 34 artists and approximately 69 artworks and historical objects, the exhibition explores travel through painting, photography, sculpture, digital installations and archival materials. Rare manuscripts and historical objects connect the artistic programme to centuries of geographical exploration, including contributions from Islamic scholars in astronomy and navigation.

The exhibition invites visitors to consider travel as more than physical movement, presenting it as an experience that changes how people understand themselves and the world around them. Admission is free, with visitor information available through Misk Art Institute.


4. XP Music Futures

WHEN: 26–28 November 2026
WHERE: JAX District in Diriyah, Riyadh

XP Music Futures returns for its sixth edition, bringing together musicians, producers, creative entrepreneurs and industry leaders to explore the future of music across the Middle East and North Africa. Organised by the MDLBEAST Foundation, the three-day gathering combines industry conversations, educational workshops, networking and musical programming designed to strengthen the region's creative ecosystem.

The conference is also the culmination of year-round initiatives supporting emerging artists and music professionals. Beyond its performances and industry discussions, XP offers insight into how Saudi Arabia's music sector is developing new opportunities for talent, collaboration and cultural exchange. 5. CONTINUUM ’26

Unmissable Art & Culture Events in Riyadh This Fall
WHEN: 3 September – 7 November 2026
WHERE: Diriyah Art Futures, Riyadh

Presented by Diriyah Art Futures, CONTINUUM ’26 brings together 16 emerging international artists exploring the intersection of contemporary art, science and technology. The second edition of the exhibition showcases works developed through the centre's year-long Emerging New Media Artists Programme, featuring immersive installations, virtual and mixed reality, artificial intelligence, moving images, light and sound.

Through themes of memory, identity, human perception and the relationship between people and technology, the exhibition invites visitors to experience art beyond traditional formats. Accompanied by artist talks, workshops and masterclasses, CONTINUUM ’26 offers an opportunity to discover new creative practices and the next generation of digital artists shaping the future of contemporary art. Tickets start from SAR 30, with adult admission listed at SAR 50.
